If you are like me, this is one of the first topics I look at on a blog. While food doesn’t really CONSUME me, I AM a slightly obsessed foodie.
My sister says I have OCD regarding food. Don’t listen to her.
I’m interested in everything about food. Where it comes from, how it’s grown/caught/raised, how far it travels, how healthy it is, how to cook it…everything.
Oh yes…and how it tastes…oh my…how it tastes.
Yep…I guess I must confess to being obsessed…
I AM FOOD OBSESSED!!!
There, I said it. They say the first step in recovery is admitting the problem, so I AM FOOD OBSESSED…I admit it.
The thing is, I don’t see it as a problem, and I certainly don’t want to “get over” the obsession. Oh no, quite the contrary…I want to hold on to the obsession, wrap my arms around it, fondle it…
Can I say “fondle” on a family blog?
All in a physically and mentally healthy way, of course.
So, we’ll go on a food vacation of sorts. We’ll visit the land of Good Healthy Food, and stop at the capital city of Locavore. Then we’ll explore the Villages of the Recipe region, and finally my favorite town, Kitchen Tools, with its suburb of Cute Gadgets.
Let’s go…and not a word about my obvious mental instability…
