Hi folks…Are y’all looking forward to a great Thanksgiving? Turkey and dressing and greenbean casserole and sweet potato souffle…oh my! Oh…and don’t forget some variety of pumpkin flavored dessert..
Anyway, obviously the weekly live, streaming vidcast on Thursday’s, “JuicyMaters Living live!” is not happening on Thanksgiving…I can’t let my webcam get between me and Thanksgiving dinner…LOL!
I’m afraid the show will not be back next week, either. A least for now the show has been put on hiatus, as they say in TV land, and for much the same reason regular TV shows are warehoused either temporarily or permanently:
Ratings. Actually it would be more accurate to say “viewership” rather than ratings, since there are no ratings that I know of for vidcasts. There just haven’t been many folks watching the show. As a matter of fact, the most viewers for any given show was 3, and I can’t schedule my entire Thursday around 3 viewers.
For the video addicts…do not despair as there will still be semi-regular videos on JuicyMaters, just not a regularly scheduled weekly show. There is no telling what category might have a video post. So far, the videos have only been about yurts and homesteading, but you never know…cooking videos might be making an appearance soon, so keep your eyes open.
So anyway…y’all have a great Thanksgiving and I’ll see you soon.
PS…you might keepyour eyes open tomorrow or Wednesday. There might be a surprise Thanksgiving recipe In the Kitchen!

Hi Victoria…thanks for stopping by, and THANKS for the kudos and encouragement.
I apparently wasn’t real clear about my intentions going forward when I wrote this post…sorry about that. I didn’t mean to imply the show was done. Even the live show will live again, just not right now. The recorded show will keep on, just not on a regular schedule for now. They won’t all be old shows either…many will be new ones. It’s just that with 2-3 live viewers at a specific time, I can’t (right now) commit to a time each week for a live show. I am planning to resume the weekly live show in mid to late March, about the time the time changes again and local farmer’s markets start opening back up.
Again…thanks for stopping by…and keep coming back.!
Bob
Agreed with all the comments above, you may not have many live viewers but I bet you have way more viewers of your “recordings” that you realize. Give it time …. it’ll build up!

I don’t think you have given enough time to build your audience. And don’t forget that people might prefer to view later at their convenience0 not yours. I’d feel a lot more comfortable commenting here if that darn share thingy would get out of the way.
