Tweet Longtime friends here at JuicyMaters knew Jackie. She was a little halfbreed…more like 57 breed mix, really..dog that I got last year when she was about 6 weeks old. Remember…I asked y’all for help naming her, being unable to do better than DAD…short for Dumb A** Dog…myself. I got a few suggestions from y’all, and a threat from Irish, my 6 ft tall redheaded friend, that no matter what I BETTER get away from DAD, so the puppy wound up being named Jackie. Jackie was a small dog, around 20-25 lbs I would guess, and not really my type. I like big dogs, like Rotties and Mastiffs, but I tolerated Jackie. Tweet When I ask “who are y’all”, it is YOU I am asking. Not some other person who might be reading this a city or state or even country away from you..and not even that visiting neighbor who is reading this over your shoulder, but YOU! Hi folks…Are y’all looking forward to a great Thanksgiving? Turkey and dressing and greenbean casserole and sweet potato souffle…oh my! Oh…and don’t forget some variety of pumpkin flavored dessert..
Anyway, obviously the weekly live, streaming vidcast on Thursday’s, “JuicyMaters Living live!” is not happening on Thanksgiving…I can’t let my webcam get between me and Thanksgiving dinner…LOL!
I love my coffee. LOTS of coffee. Too much coffee.
Especially first thing in the morning.
Morning coffee takes water, and my toilet flowed and flowed and flowed. It flowed ‘til it had “flowed” dry.
Now you understand the post title…”Toilet malfunction…how do I make coffee?”
Over the next 24 hours the well will refill…but until then I miss my coffee.
And I still haven’t adjusted the toilet. If you come visit, remember to pull the handle up, OK?
Jackie had puppies last Wednesday…I think the combination of mid-summer heat and 6 puppies suckling for sustenance has done what growing up into an adult dog hadn’t…slowed her down enough that she doesn’t need Valium, like she did back when I wrote this. I just hope that when the puppies are gone, and a few months down the road when cooler weather returns, she stays somewhat calmer than she was before.
I hope she stays calmer so I never have to beg y’all for valium for Jackie again…’cause you don’t help out and send it!
