The Baker's Green Acres story, and a threat of violence by the DNR

I’m guessing at this since JuicyMaters covers cooking and yurts and homesteading, but I think most of my visitors here have at least a passing interest in all three. If you think about it, they are all related. Some of the JuicyMaters family comes to take a look and see what new recipes I’ve put up. Some of you are looking for homesteading information, and of course many are looking for the latest posts about yurts. With all of

JuicyMaters guest post: Dan Swinton on rustic decor

Redefining your Bathroom: Rustic Edition   Going all-out to redesign and completely renovate your bathroom to reflect your love for rustic décor is not necessary.  You can add a few touches here and some decorations there and make a significant difference.  Take, for example, some window shutters made of unfinished and older wood.  While not drastically changing the room or an expensive addition it certainly makes a difference and really livens-up the bathroom.  If you’re short on other rustic bathroom ideas, consider some of these as well: Mirror bordered by unfinished wood For bathrooms with a simple hanging mirror that
